Franschhoek Motor Museum is a must-see South African museum. It showcases over 100 years of automotive history through a wonderful car display. It caters to tourists, families and motor enthusiasts alike. In addition, the museum’s collection exceeds a massive 220 vehicles. These all range from an 1898 Beeston motor tricycle to a 2003 Ferrari Enzo supercar. Also, more than 80 exhibits will be on view at any one time. These exhibits on display in four de-humidified halls with a total floor area of 2700 square meters. In addition, the museum presents the exhibits in chronological order.
The museum is set in the fabulous L’Ormarins, Franschhoek. Other activities include snack at their deli, booking a vintage drive, or take a tram ride to Anthonij Rupert Wines for a wine tasting.
