A Yacht Captain named Nick established Rosedene Guest House over twenty years ago. This happened during a stopover in Cape Town, whilst on a world cruise. He aimed to create a Guest House with a homely feel in an informal setting. Plus, he wanted pleasant and informative staff to make all guests stay in Cape Town the most memorable.
The Rosedene Guest House was part of a rose farm founded on the slopes of Table Mountain back in the 1800s. Since then, the house has had many conversions and additions. Today the property has 18 rooms. You’ll find ten rooms in the main house and a separate suite overlooking the plunge pool. Furthermore, there are four two-bedroom cottages.
The Guest House also has a courtyard and garden, which creates a relaxed ‘village-like’ feel. This is evident even though the Rosedene is in the heart of the city. The verandas, decks and courtyard, all have majestic views of Cape Town. You can see Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Signal Hill, the city centre and Table Bay.
Rosedene Guest House is on trendy Kloof Street. Close to a plethora of unique restaurants, bars and shops. This makes it ideal for those who wish to stay in the city for business or pleasure. In addition, The V&A Waterfront is only ten minutes away. You also have easy access to the rest of the Peninsula, the Winelands and start of the Garden Route.
Plus, all eighteen rooms have great amenities to make your stay more convenient. They come with fibre internet, air-conditioning, an electronic safe and so much more. All guests are treated to full English and Continental style breakfasts and unique touches that make the time spend there worthwhile.
So, with lovely accommodation and fun activities nearby, choosing Rosedene Guest Hours should be at the top of your list. Book now!
